On Friday, June 18, 2004, Pamela Bundy received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Parren J. Mitchell Foundation at its Annual Awards Dinner. Each year, the foundation celebrates and honors community leaders who manifest Congressman Mitchell’s vision and continue his efforts in improving the lives of African-Americans and other minorities. Through the foundation a new generation of public servants and entrepreneurs are recognized and celebrated, which have included filmmakers, developers and longtime, successful business owners.
